One pair down, only 51 more to go

I finished a pair tonight I've been working on for a while. They are made from Shelridge Farms Ultra Heather in a wonderful rusty red. The pottern is Seed and Rib from the free Web Socks pattern by Erica Alexander on the Interweave Knits site. (Not available right now, hope it will return.) The pattern was easy, almost too easy, and the yarn was wonderful to knit with. I have more in eggplant and teal. I'll try and post a picture of my stash as soon as I get the camera back from DD. I have too much sock yarn and am trying to use it instead of purchasing new sock yarn this year. Using it up is not in the cards this year, but 52 pairs will make a dent.

I'm also working on a second pair of Madtini Socks in the same Strapaz multi yarn Hope is using. Not sure what pattern she's using. Hope?

It's Spey Valley from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. A good pattern from a wonderful book. The yarn is probably a little too dark to show it off properly, but mostly I'm pretty happy with how it's working out.
